WHERE DOES YOUR WEEKLY GIVING GO?
As you know, our church buildings are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Because we are not meeting physically, we are not collecting offerings at services. This means that £35k of halls lettings income and congregational giving disappeared overnight - a significant blow to our finances as well as to our visibility in the community.
Unless we take some action now, we are on track to lose a quarter of our annual income this year and are heading for a deficit of £45-60k. Our reserves will help us through the immediate crisis but only at the expense of our longer term future.
So we are appealing for help to church members, adherents, visitors and members of the community alike.

Whatever route you use to donate, Gift Aiding you donation will allow us to increase its value by 25% by reclaiming tax from HMRC. To be eligible, you must be paying at least as much tax as the amount to be relaimed on your donation.
